Sonia Anand: “ Sickle Cell Disease and Healthcare Utilization”  
and
MaryBeth Freeman: "The National Program of Cancer Registries Public Use Dataset"       

Sonia Anand is a data management coordinator/research epidemiologist for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Her research interests are in chronic diseases and pediatric epidemiology. Currently, her research is focused on sickle cell disease among children and adolescents. 

MaryBeth Freeman is an ORISE Fellow in the Cancer Surveillance Branch in the Division of Cancer Prevention and Control at the CDC. She focuses on data quality evaluations and data visualization. MaryBeth received her MPH from UGA in 2014. Previously she worked as an ORAU contractor with the CDC Medical Care Task Force for the 2014 Eola response.
