Academic Advising for Health Promotion
Advisement appointments for health promotion majors in the College of Public Health should be made with either Mr. Nathan Freeman, Ms. Trina Lawrence, or Ms. Priscilla Carter. Students interested in the major or who want to learn more about the major should also make appointments with Ms. Lawrence.
All first year students should make an appointment with Ms. Lawrence.
Students in their second year or more:
Last names beginning with A through M should make appointments with Dr. Freeman.
Last names beginning with N through Z should make appointments with Ms. Carter.
Health promotion is a high demand major. Application to the major must be made, usually at the end of the second year. For more information on applying to the major, see: http://www.publichealth.uga.edu/hpb/admission/procedures
