The Music for Health Project, run by the Nell Hodgson School of Nursing at Emory University, is currently seeking an on-site research coordinator 1-2 days a week for participant recruitment and monitoring at its Athens, Georgia study site.
The Music for Health Project is a behavioral intervention research study aimed at improving medication adherence among HIV-positive participants using a smartphone mobile app. The ideal candidate will be willing to work flexible hours and comfortable interacting with HIV positive participants in a health department setting. The coordinator will be responsible for participant recruitment, screening, interview, follow-up and maintaining project data. In addition, he or she will collect, process, and ship study specimens (hair samples) according to protocol.
