Notice for Transfer Students

Changing schools and majors can change degree requirements and potentially a graduation date. Students should carefully review their transfer credit summaries with their academic advisor. It may be necessary to spend time and energy working with individual departments to get the maximum credit toward graduation from transfer work. Decisions about course credit toward graduation are always the prerogative of the receiving institution and its schools and colleges. Students who have not received a transfer credit summary by the time they first meet with their academic advisor, should take copies of their grade reports to assist the advisor.
