Master of Public Health (MPH)
The MPH at the University of Georgia was developed
to train individuals who can provide service and leadership in public
health in the state of Georgia, for the nation, and around the globe.
The two year program is designed for professional who wish to expand
their skills, knowledge and expertise, and for students who wish
to build a career in public health. Students are admitted for the
fall semester each year, and classes are offered on the UGA campus
in Athens. The foundation for the curriculum is the five core areas
of public health: biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health
science, health services administration and health promotion and
behavior.
The MPH degree is administered through the College of Public Health.
Concentrations are currently offered in Environmental Health Science, Health Policy and Management,
and Health Promotion and Behavior.
