The Department of Health Promotion and Behavior, through its teaching, research, and service initiatives, generates knowledge about the social and behavioral determinants of health and applies that knowledge to the design, delivery and evaluation of disease prevention and health promotion programs.

The Department of Health Promotion and Behavior (HPB) is housed on the third floor of the Ramsey Student Center for Physical Activities. It is located at 300 River Road and is identified as building 1690 on campus maps.
The HPB Department is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Ramsey Student Center for Physical Activities and has resided there since the building opened in 1995.
