Two-Year Post-Doc Research Scholar in Stress, Social Support, and Healthy Aging
The Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) program at Kent State University (KSU) seeks applications for a full-time post-doctoral research fellowship to begin in 2013. Interested applicants will work closely with Drs. Greg Smith and Kelly Cichy on their research programs related to stress, social support, and healthy aging. Applicants must have received a Ph.D. in human development, family studies, psychology, sociology, or a related field within the last 3 years and have a strong interest in stress, social support, and/or aging research. Job Description: Home Delivered Meals Program Specialist.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Public Health, Education or other human service studies. Exemplary experience and High School graduation will be considered.
Experience: Minimum one year's experience in the delivery of social services to elderly and handicapped persons, including program planning and delivery, case management, utilization of community resources, eligibility determination, public relations, and general management duties. Experience in volunteer recruitment
and training, knowledge of Athens-Clarke County community and of local resources, and experience in food services strongly preferred.
Supervision: The Home Delivered Meals Program Assistant is responsible to the Home Delivered Meal Manager for fulfilling the duties of the position and shall be employed forth (40) hours per week.
SALARY: $ 23,920.00 Annually + Mileage
