The College of Public Health is comprised of four departments and two institutes. It consists of departments in Environmental Health Science; Epidemiology and Biostatistics; Health Policy and Management; Health Promotion and Behavior; the Institute of Gerontology, and the Institute for Health Management and Mass Destruction Defense.ology, the Department of Health Promotion and Behavior, and the Institute of Gerontology.

The CPH Graduate Student Association held a chili cook-off on Thursday, April 3, 2008 in the Coverdell Center. Funds were raised to support the GSA's Relay for Life team. The cook-off was a great success with five team entries which raised $306 for Relay. » Read more
On March 1, several CPH students and their instructor for the Community Health class, Dr. Katie Hein, participated in the inaugural AIDS Walk/Run Athens to raise money and awareness for those living with AIDS in Northeast Georgia. Seven undergraduate and 5 graduate students participated in the walk and 4 students participated in the run portion of the event. Their team theme was 'Black Out AIDS'. » Read more

He met with the Dean and the Associate Deans of the college for a briefing on the activities and research of the college.
