General Guidelines
Applicants to the College of Public Health for the Doctoral degree program in Epidemiology must apply to both the Graduate School and to the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Please see the two step process outlined below.
Applications are only considered after both the Graduate School and secondary applications are complete. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all materials are submitted on a timely basis.
There are no formal criteria for admission as regards grade point average (GPA) or standardized test scores. In general, successful applications will have maintained a 3.0 GPA in college and scored in the upper 50th percentile on the standardized tests. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in mathematics, including calculus, and the sciences.
