Research Professional III

The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics is seeking a Research Professoinal III to engage in a variety of duties related to ongoing research studies, project management, training and research program coordination, as well as proposal and project development.  Areas of research include on infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, HIV, influenza and others.  Current research projects are funded through Federal, state and private sponsors.  Research is complimented by a training program specializing in International infectious diseases, requiring some International travel for this position.  This position reports to a senior researcher and faculty member, as well as assists in providing business services for research activities under the direction of the department business manager.
