Master of Public Health (MPH)
The MPH at the University of Georgia was developed to address the critical need for highly trained public health professionals. Through coursework and field learning experiences, MPH students receive training to provide service and leadership in public health in the state of Georgia, for the nation, and around the globe. The 2-year program is designed for health professionals who wish to expand their skills, knowledge, and expertise, and for students who wish to build a career in public health.
Students are admitted for the fall semester each year, and classes are offered on the UGA campus in Athens. Students can choose one of the following concentrations areas: Biostatistics, Environmental Health Science, Epidemiology, Health Policy and Management, and Health Promotion and Behavior.
