Phylicia Hammonds is a fourth year Health Promotion student from Columbus, Ga. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, reading, watching reality TV, and really just enjoying life as a college student.  After college, she plans to attend a Post-Baccalaureate Program and obtain a Medical Degree in Dermatology.

Phylicia stated, 'The College of Public Health was something I never fully understood until taking an introductory course and IMMEDIAETLY falling in love with it.  In my opinion, this college is SO special simply because it affords so many opportunities to those within its programs.'  She never expected she would be where she is today, but is so thankful that she is here. Throughout her time here (and several nites of Grey's Anatomy) she has learned to live by one quote:

"The expected is just the beginning. The unexpected is what changes our lives."-Dr. Meredith Grey
